The company meeting on January 8th:
Lightswitch Theatre Company had an important meeting at Company Member Alexis' house to discuss their goals for the new year and Tyler Mann's play, "Dues: The People's Crusade." The second draft of the play will be read either at the next team meeting or early in February, with a staged reading tentatively scheduled for late March (March 25th).
In addition to the play, the team discussed the company's customer experiences, building a community, and non-profit/LLC and small business grants. They also discussed roles and responsibilities within the company, as well as the need for a new space to produce work since the Public Theater is no longer taking reservations in 2023.
The team is now 8 strong with the addition of Tess and Taryn and they discussed the upcoming Conversations Series which will take place on January 17th at 7:30pm.
The next meeting is scheduled for February 4th at 5pm.
